Ferrara|Buist Business General Contractors in Fort Mill and Charlotte were approached by the YMCA in Baxter Village to design and build a recreational and picnic structure that was within a very tight budget.
The Baxter Village YMCA had received a grant and had decided to build a picnic pavilion with bathrooms. After several consultations with the YMCA team, we presented an offer to do the design and permitting for free and the construction at-cost so that they could stay within their budget. The project was a great success and we are glad to give back to our local community.
The structure is approximately 40 feet by 25 feet. The second roof will allow the structure to remain cooler in the summer time. The bathrooms were also a great addition to the intermural ballfield.
