Charlotte Commercial Contractor Builder Shares Vet Project Update

Ferrara|Buist enjoys posting progress of the various new business and retail construction projects that we are involved with.  Our new veterinary office on Providence Road is a total turnkey design/build construction project that began in mid May.

The 1.6-acre site with a totally renovated 5,200 sq.ft. vet office and health center is progressing nicely.  We completely gutted and removed all of the interior and have made major progress on the new interior build-out and construction additions.  The exterior of the property is changing dramatically as well.  A new exterior facade is being constructed along with a large driveway and customer/patient parking area.  You can see the progress in the photos below.

Charlotte Fort Mill Restaurant Upfits, Renovations, Remodels & Construction Traps!

Charlotte Fort Mill Restaurant upfits and renovations from Ferrara|Buist.Restaurant decor and ambiance is vitally important for the overall business success of any restaurant.  Diners enjoy spending time in a comfortable, unique environment and atmosphere.  That is the creative and “fun” part of upfitting or renovating a restaurant.  But what about all of the “back end” requirements?  How will you manage cash flow through the restaurant upfit?  What do you need to present for financing?

Ferrara|Buist is experienced in the design + build of restaurants.  We can bring your creative visions and ideas to life for the front end of your restaurant.  We can give you stylish curves, mood-altering colors and shapes, unique alcoves and dining nooks, and everything that is the “atmosphere” of your restaurant goal.  Maybe even more important than the front end is what happens in the back end of your restaurant.  This is where restaurant owners run into the snarls and pitfalls.

What are some unique requirements for restaurants that you haven’t considered?

  1. What are the ADA requirements?Charlotte Fort Mill restaurant remodels upfits and renovations with Ferrara|Buist.
  2. Is there natural gas service to the building?
  3. What is the current fire code?
  4. Is there sufficient water supply for the renovation?
  5. Do you need a grease trap?
  6. Are you required to have an Ansul System?
  7. How will you manage cash flow during construction?
  8. Can you help me find the right lender?

These are the unique questions and concerns where Ferrara|Buist excels.  We want to give you the “entire picture” of your project.  No surprises.  No shock.  We are realistic and we want to disclose everything you need to know about building and upfitting your new restaurant.
