Charlotte Fort Mill General Commercial Contractor with a Design + Build Project Update

Ferrara|Buist is moving along smoothly with our upfit and construction of the York County Humane Society building.

The additional lighting in the kennel has been installed and the fiberglass panels around the perimeter of that area is being installed today. The dry wall installation is complete and there is prime paint on all of the walls. The ceiling grid has been installed and the florescent lights and air outlets and returns have been installed.

We will begin installing the ceiling tiles with insulation next week after the county inspects the above ceiling work. The material is already in the building. The ERV units have been installed and the HVAC system is up and running. The outside outlets, lights and water faucet are also complete.

The Humane Society project is a fun project, especially since we see the end of the project in sight and the staff can begin moving in after Labor Day.

Ferrara|Buist New Business Construction Project for Charlotte Veterinary Clinic Progresses!

Ferrara|Buist is having a busy summer new construction season this year with several major business construction projects on our calendar, including the new veterinary office on Providence Road in Charlotte.

The 1.6-acre site with a totally renovated 5,200 sq.ft. vet office and health center is progressing nicely.  We completely gutted and removed all of the interior and have made major progress on the new interior build-out and construction additions.  The exterior of the property is changing dramatically as well.  A new exterior facade is being constructed along with a large driveway and customer/patient parking area.

You can see by the photo on this page that the interior design and build renovation is entering the final build-out stages.  Our stone masons did a beautiful job on the stone work on these columns.  This gives the interior a real sense of design and creativity!
